NIS GIVING TREE

Please help us ensure that no student in our school goes without a holiday gift this year by selecting an ornament from our Giving Tree with a gift wish from one our families in need.  The tree will be on display in our lobby at the Craft Fair on November 17th until mid-December.  If you have a current student at NIS you feel may benefit from this program due to financial difficulties, please contact Samantha Boutis at ext. 503.  Thank You!

#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration.  Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.  Join the #unselfie movement.  Donate to NIS at  www.niskids.org/donate  and then post a picture of yourself on social media holding a sign telling people why you gave to NIS.  It's a fun way to give back.  Keep your eye out for the year-end appeal coming home soon too!

Shop at smile.amazon.com, choose the New Interdisciplinary School as your charity of choice, and NIS receives a donation for every purchase you make!  Prices are the same as Amazon - the only difference is you making a difference.  Thank You!
 NIS

NIS is a not for profit school that receives funding from New York State and Suffolk County to cover programs and services for students with disabilities; however, we rely on donations to enhance these programs and services. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today!
