A Word from Andrew... Summer Sermon Series
Dear PSC Members and Friends,
Last Sunday, we began a summer message series timely titled,"Good News in a Time of 'Fake News': Reawakening A Spirituality of Humanness." The first message in the series focused on Diversity and Inclusion (one of our seven core values).
I've heard from so many of you, and your responses have been emotionally deep. You have expressed your tears, gratitude, and emotional connection to the message as it applies to your own families, lives, and our life together at PSC.
(If you want to listen or re-live the sermon from last week, it is posted on PSC's homepage near the middle of the screen to the right: www.pinestreetchurch.net)
By now you know that we have a brand new spiritual symbol and mantra: Embrace Everyone. Inspire Life. Create More.
Last week we started with our first "two-word" sermon that was distilled from Pine Street Church's core values: Embrace Everyone.
This weekend, the second message in the series will focus on the next "two-word" sermon in our mantra: Inspire Life.
To help us learn more about what this means, we will focus on Jesus' first miracle in the Gospel of John---turning water into wine!
Along the way this summer, I hope that you will come to find a room in your heart for the deeper message of what it means to be a community of grace who embraces everyone, inspires life, and creates more.
Cheers,
Andrew
