SAINTS PETER & PAUL CATHOLIC SCHOOL
COLLEGE BOUND
CLASS OF 2014
MAKES THEIR DECISION

Throughout the past five months, our Senior Spotlight series has featured members from our Class of 2014 who were concluding a very accomplished high school experience at Naperville North, Naperville Central, Benet, or St. Francis.   They also acknowledged how well-prepared they were at Saints Peter and Paul School for the rigorous curriculum they encountered.

Today we present the college choices of the Class of 2014.

Space limitations prevent us from listing all of the colleges and universities to which they were accepted, the majors they will be pursuing, or the scholarship money they received.

As accomplished as these students listed here are, the exciting news is that they are no different from any class that has graduated from Saints Peter and Paul School for the past 165 years.

GIFTING SSPP WITH YOUR       REQUIRED MINIMUM IRA             DISTRIBUTION

If you are age 70 ½, or older, you are able to transfer up to $100,000 from a traditional IRA, tax-free, to charity each year.

Simply tell the administrator of your
IRA of your wishes and it's done.  It will count as part, or all, of your required minimum distribution for the year and will not be added to your adjusted gross income.

The gift won't be subject to tax, as it would if you were to take the distribution and then donate the cash to
Saints Peter and Paul School.

TRIVIA
When our school was founded in 1853...

...people who were ecstatic about something didn't use the phrase 'the best thing since sliced bread' as the machine which sliced bread at the grocery store wasn't invented until 1928 at which time it was considered the biggest breakthrough for the baking industry since bread was wrapped.
