" HeartRun a wonderful success! From the student-designed paper hearts lining the field, to the red shirts blazing around the track to raise awareness and funds for heart disease in honor of their loved ones--St. Serra 's campus was filled with love and energy! We are thankful to every committee member and volunteer who made the
day so heartfelt!
We are pleased to announce that our HeartRun raised over $8,000, with $6,000 donated to the American Heart Association!

Thank you to PTO VP Outreach Mrs. Kathy Bonin for arranging and leading our St. Serra Mom's Group Book Study, new to 2017-18. This spring, the group read Listen, Love, Repeat by Karen Ehman. Thank you, Kathy for gathering our St. Serra moms and inspiring a love of reading and sharing.
 Parent Education Series
Thank you to PTO VP Parent Education, Alessandra Brus for providing a forum for parents to listen and learn, with the launch of the Parent Education Series. Alessandra heard our vision and organized morning and evening opportunities for parents to listen to speakers on a variety of topics. Thank you for your wonderful ideas and determination.
Teacher Appreciation Week
Thank you to PTO VP Outreach, Kathy Bonin and Event Chairs, Kara Elkins, Lisa Cavanaugh and Joyce Stinson for their beautiful STEAM- themed Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week, by organizing and attending to every detail for our teachers and staff.
LOOKING TO GET INVOLVED?
Room Parent 'Team' SignUps! We are looking to have teams of 8-10 parents per grade level for K-8 (and smaller groups for Preschool and TK). The Room Parent Teams will consist of Homeroom Liaisons, Grade-Level Ambassadors, Birthday Celebration Coordinator, Class Party/Social/Field Trip Coordinator, Crafts/Decorations/Class Projects Coordinator, Grade-level Photo Parents, SignUp Genius (SUG) Coordinator, and a New Parent Team Member.

ROOM PARENT SURVEY and submit your name, along with what grade/grades you would be interested in, and your area/areas of interest. Selection will take place based on interest, talents and need.
All Room Parent "Teams" will be selected before the end of the school year. Thank you for your interest!
