February 2019: New at the Coe!
We are here for you !
Letter from Rachel, CEO
We are here for you. Thanks to our amazing supporters and collaborators, such as IAIA and Meow Wolf, the Coe has wonderful exhibitions and unusual programs to bring artists and the public together. We welcome your ideas of how we can do even more. As we like to say, "Through big ideas, engage people."

As we look to the future, we are in build mode , adding board members to bring new perspectives and further amplify artists' voices. And, I am personally thrilled to announce that board director Ben Allison, of Bardacke Allison, has agreed to be Vice-Chair of the Board! His ideas and energy are kicking it up a notch, so stay tuned for more interesting developments.

Last but certainly not least, in addition to being open the First Friday of each month, 1 to 4 p.m., we will be repeating our popular Summer Saturday hours in July and August. Also, remember we offer free private tours; simply call to schedule a time.

As always, we welcome your ideas and questions—let us know at info@coeartscenter.org

Hands-On Curatorial Exhibition Opening May 10

Now in its fifth year, our Hands-On Curatorial Program keeps growing and evolving! Every year (and exhibition) our high school curators bring a unique interpretation of art and culture to the public. This year is no exception; their selection of objects from the Coe collection for their work is intriguing! The professional skills and experiences they learn here, they can take anywhere. So please come out and support them on May 10th. Admission is free and we'll send out more information as it develops.

In March, we will be hosting a workshop, led by The Loan Fund's Joaquin Amador, with participation of our Coe Board Director, Kenneth Johnson. Joaquin has worked with many arts groups and nonprofits throughout his career, with a realistic approach to art as a business. Kenneth will share his lessons learned in developing his business, while retaining his commitment to his heritage and artistic vision.
