Dear Lycée Parent / Guardian,

For several days the metro area has been under an air quality alert.  Our immediate response was to identify our sensitive groups and restrict outdoor play during the afternoon hours. After reviewing Air Quality and Outdoor Activity Guidance for Schools from the Centers for Disease Control and the Environmental Protection Agency,    www3.epa.gov/airnow/flag/school-chart-2014.pdf, we are going to allow students to resume outdoor activities throughout the day with additional vigilance on the part of supervising staff.  Any parent whose child has a respiratory condition may request a more restricted activity schedule by contacting the nurse on the respective campus.

Kind regards,

Keith Barlett
