From your Principal...
Dear STM Families,

This past Friday was our annual Field Day.  This is such a fun day for our students and gets better every year!  A special thank you to our Field Day Chairs Mrs. Farrell, Mrs. Byrd-Price and Mrs. King who planned an eventful, fun day for our K-8 students and Mrs. Coltharp and her team for planning a fun day for the preschool students!  As with all our activities, this day would not be possible without the help and support of our parents.  This year we had close to 100 parents come spend their morning with us and volunteer to ensure all the students had a great day.  Thank you to everyone for all their help and support.  You made a memorable day for your child(ren) and their classmates!   Please see Field Day section below.

Our PAWS Print...

Our STM PAWS Parents make an impact on our school and our students everyday.

The STM community would like to thank our fearless Field Day 2018

Coordinators; Susan Farrell, LaTonya Price and Elizabeth King for an amazing event last week!  Take a look at our "Field Day by the Numbers" graphic to get a sense of how much our community came together to make a great day for students and parents alike!! All PAWS volunteers who assisted with Field Day were entered into a drawing for a $50 gift certificate to Sue Mills Uniforms, our new uniform vendor for the 2018-2019 academic year. Courtesy of our Principal, Ms. Thome, we were able to give away four (4) of these gifts. The lucky winners are:

  • Justus Tiluwa
  • Sarah Martin
  • Rose Castro
  • Eddie Espinosa
Please stop by the school office to claim your prize.

There are still several chances to leave your PAWS print on STM this year and help to support your school and student. Take a look at this weeks PAWS volunteer list and pick where you would like to help! Mrs. Fontenot, our Librarian will need some extra hands to assist with end of the year parties, this is a fun activity and a great way to get to interact with your student at school! Remember all volunteers should be Virtus-trained.

All STM parents are members of the PAWS community, check your email for announcements and information on how to get involved and support our school!!
