Celebrate National PACE Month
September is National PACE Month, and the perfect opportunity to raise awareness about PACE and the benefits PACE organizations provide to their communities. It is also a chance to celebrate the work of PACE staff who work hard to improve the lives of participants and their families.
This year's theme, "Supporting Caregivers, Supporting You," honors the role that all types of caregivers have in promoting independence for seniors. PACE is the only care model that provides services, training, and support to informal caregivers to benefit participants
.
Thank you, caregivers! We appreciate all that you do.

CareKinesis Pharmacy Recalls
In keeping with our commitment to patient safety, we would like to assure our PACE pharmacy clients that there is an internal policy and procedure in place when the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issues a recall that directly affects PACE client participants.
CareKinesis will communicate recall information within 24 - 72 hours of receiving notification of a recall from the FDA, depending on the severity and recall issue. Keep in mind that you may not receive a communication about a particular recall if the recall does not affect our pharmacy stock or medications that we have supplied to our PACE clients.
For questions, contact your CareKinesis Client Liaison or Pharmacy Operations Partner pharmacist. For general information about drug recalls, visit the FDA's drug recalls page.
