Benton Health Center Grand Reopening and Celebration
You are invited to see the results of our 18-month Benton Health Center remodel project that centers patients’ needs, care team collaboration, and highlights the community health centers' integrated model of primary care. This redesign added clinic space for an additional care team allowing us to increase the number of patients served in our community. The renovation has also added space to provide much needed adult dental treatment services, hygiene, and oral health preventive services.
Staff will be giving tours of the new space, using patient stories to highlight our service areas and successes. There will be chances to network and talk with clinic staff, community partners, as well as local political leaders essential to supporting our mission and vision of 'healthy people, strong communities.'

Solar Panels Added During Health Center Renovation
Last year solar panels were installed on the roof of the new Benton Health Center as part of that facility's major renovation. The 20.3 kilowatt photovoltaic system will produce 25,965 kWh of electricity a year. Coupled with the energy upgrades incorporated into the new building, these solar panels are expected to supply about 25% of the energy used annually at this facility, saving the County thousands of dollars a year and reducing the County's carbon footprint.

Love County Natural Areas and Parks? Take our annual survey
Benton County wants to understand how county parks are used by how many patrons, and how we can improve the user experience for future generations. The 2019 survey focuses on Bellfountain Park, Fort Hoskins Historic Park, Fitton Green Natural Area, and Irish Bend Park. The information will be used to inform the department’s strategic plan and help set priorities for maintenance and improvement projects, as well as where to consider adding amenities, such as trails, picnic areas and restrooms.
