Our athletes are off to a great start at the 15 th European Maccabi Games! Even though we are only four days into the competition, many of our Maccabi USA teams have already earned multiple wins. Scroll down to the bottom of this email for the latest results. We canโ€™t wait to see what's in store for our talented athletes during the rest of the Games.

Beyond the playing field, they have gotten to know peers from across Europe, Israel, and around the world: "it's very exciting to meet fellow chess players. I don't consider chess to be very social sport, and I think it's because we're all Jewish we're more open to meet other people. Being the only US player has been very nice, because it lets you meet more players from other countries. I met athletes from Germany and Russia. We talked about how i got under pressure while competing. Iโ€™m happy to be able to talk to someone about my strategy" Rose Dreizen, Chess
