For songs, games, crafts, and more, join us starting in September for our new Mini Mondays programming! Choose from three exciting options as you register for weeks of fun. With musical sessions lead by trained facilitators from Prelude Music  and themed sessions lead by our experienced early years museum staff, each week is a new adventure

Mini Mondays are geared towards children aged 0-4 and their caregivers. Each session consists of 60-minutes of programming followed by a 30-minute coffee/tea service, complete with activities to keep your little ones engaged and learning.

 
LAST CHANCE: TAPESCAPE
UNTIL SEPTEMBER 2, 2019

It's your last chance to experience TapeScape - a unique play environment and creative art installation! Custom-designed by artist Eric Lennartson, TapeScape is an interactive indoor landscape made entirely out of plastic wrap and packing tape stretched over a huge metal frame. Strong enough to handle hundreds of energetic kids every day, the smooth and springy surfaces will curve and twist with your movements. Exploring this unusual and unpredictable environment is sure to spark kids' creative learning!

MANYFEST
SEPTEMBER 7 & 8, 2019

Come and visit us at the MiniFest Family Zone at ManyFest in downtown Winnipeg on Saturday, September 7 and Sunday, September 8 between 11:00AM - 6:00PM where we will be creating works of art using catapults and paint! It will be a splatter all weekend long!

GRANDPARENTS' SPECIAL DAY
SEPTEMBER 8, 2019

Celebrate Grandparents' Day on September 8 by exploring the Children's Museum as a family - grandparents get half-price admission all day long! Make memories that will last a lifetime and head over to our Creation Station to create a portrait of your grandparents to decorate their wall at home!

 
MUSEUM CLOSURE
SEPTEMBER 3 - 6, 2019

The Children's Museum will be closed to the public for cleaning and annual facility maintenance from September 3 - September 6, 2019. 

We will re-open on Saturday, September 7 with fall hours in effect:
  • Sunday - Thursday: 9:30AM - 4:30PM
  • Friday & Saturday: 9:30AM - 6:00PM

The Children's Museum's Visitor Information Brochure is now available in Braille. English and French versions are available for loan upon request during your next visit.
