  • Wilton Library is closed on Sundays now through September 1. We resume our regular 1-5pm Sunday hours on September 8.

Going Somewhere? Check Out Transparent Language Online
Transparent Language is an online audio-visual language learning program. Available free with your Wilton Library card, Transparent Language features 90+ languages, including English for speakers of other languages. This easy-to-use resource is perfect for travelers looking to learn some basics on the go. Wizard Camp Fundraiser
Tuesday, August 20 from 9am to 3pm
For children entering grades 3-5
Summer is almost over and it's time to think about going back to school - Wizarding School! Wilton Library hosts a fundraiser commemorating 22 years of Harry Potter. Children  will be sorted into the four houses of Hogwarts and attend a variety of magical classes and fun activities. They will search for magical artifacts guarded by fearsome creatures; learn about the Science of Divinations from Professor Trelawney and much more. Children must bring their own lunches; snacks and beverages will be supplied. Advance registration required in person; $50 per child. For details, call 203-762-6336 More info
Shop in Style with Wilton Library Tote Bags
Available now for $2 at the Circulation Desk
The State of Connecticut's new ban on single-use plastic bags goes into effect August 1. It will place a tax of 10 cents on each single-use plastic bag. Invest in a Wilton  Library tote bag ($2 at the Circulation Desk) to show your library love as well as reduce the effects of single-use plastics on the environment.
