One-on-One Technology Help

Need help creating a resume?
Interested in finally uploading all the photos from your smartphone to Facebook?
Come to our One-on-One Technology Help session in the Adult reading area!
Our library assistants will help all patrons with basic computer issues in a
relaxing, helpful, and encouraging environment. Our assistants can help with
issues on our public laptops or on your own laptop or device. Any tech help
requiring more than 5 minutes of assistance will only be available during
this scheduled time period.

Invasive Plants: An Introduction

5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
What are invasive plants, and why are they a bad thing?
This program will answer these questions, and help participants recognize
the most common invasive plants growing in southeastern Connecticut.
The program will also touch briefly on native plants and soils.
Handouts and a list of resources for further information will be provided.

served for ten years as the UConn Master Gardener Coordinator for New London County in the Norwich Extension Center. She is also the author of
Common To This Country: Botanical Discoveries of Lewis & Clark,
