Weekend Lineup
Remember Mom at Weimar Gedenke, Squeeze Mom in Kyle

If it's Mother's Day weekend, then it's time for Weimar folks to remember their German heritage with Gedenke! Fun gets started Friday night as the BBQ cook-off contenders fire up their grills while Broken Alibi and Steel Country fire up their guitars. Saturday, the music lineup features Terry Cavanagh & Alpine Express, Snake River Red, and The Emotions. Also on Saturday, the City of Kyle presents its 2nd Annual Squeeze Me Fest. Great music all day long - Conjunto Los Pinkys, Czech Melody Masters, Grupo Massa, Walburg Boys, and Conjunto Cats. Squeeze out some time for this fest!

WEEKLY LAUGH
A couple was celebrating their 75th anniversary.  During the celebration the man was saying what a wonderful marriage it had been.  Never even a single argument.  Later, a friend asked the man what his secret was to have enjoyed such a long marriage with no disagreements.  The man replied that it was simple.  He said, "We agreed in the beginning that I would make all the major decisions and she would make all the minor ones."  His friend said that even so it is amazing that there were no disagreements.  The long-married groom responded, "There never were any major decisions."
