Staff Bulletin | May 10 , 2018

Last week Walnut had the opportunity to support a student that has recently been diagnosed with diabetes.  Team Schnak educated students and staff on symptoms and information about the disease.  The 4th grade students finished an economics unit by creating objects to sell at a "store" to raise money.  They chose to donate the $400 dollars they raised to Team Schnak and their mission to support children with diabetes.  The Walnut PTO matched their efforts and they were able to donate a total of $800.
