A Message from Arthur

Every beginning has an end. Today, I formally announce that it is my last day of internship here at St. Josaphat. I have mixed emotions right now. I feel sad because I have to say goodbye for now, and at the same time I am happy because I move forward to my new assignment. In June, I will start working at Illinois Masonic Medical Center as a chaplain-intern for my CPE (Clinical Pastoral Education). St. Josaphat is still my "Teaching Parish" until I get ordained to the priesthood in May 2020. From time to time you will still see me at the parish, especially on some Sundays to help out. I would like to thank all of you for being part of my internship experience. Please keep me in your prayers as I pray for all of you. God Bless!

Men's Spirituality Group Meeting
The St. Josaphat Men's Spirituality group will meet next on Saturday May 19th, 2018, at 6:30am in the Rectory.
St. Agatha Peace Circle
St. Agatha, our sharing parish, hosts a peace circle, the second Tuesday of every month. A growing number of parishioners, including school parents, have been in attendance. The next event is May 8th from 6:30-8:30 pm. See the bulletin or contact Kim Nugent for more information.
