Update on Scholars@Duke and outside relationships
Complete transparency and full disclosure play a key role in reducing, eliminating or managing conflicts of commitment and conflicts of interest. Since 2013, DukeHealth.org has displayed Industry Relationships for Duke providers (see example here) .

Scholars@Duke will display a new section, “Industry Relationships,” to show outside interests that have been reported on annual Conflict of Interest disclosure forms . Here is an example of how the information will appear in your Scholars@Duke page.
For questions about the COI form or the conflict of interest reporting process, contact dosicoi@duke.edu . For questions about Scholars@Duke, please contact your local Power User .
NEW Grant Review and Submission Process
All applications for research funding from a sponsor outside of Duke must be reviewed and approved by the Office of Research Administration (ORA). A complete and compliant application must be submitted to ORA no later than 8:00am five (5) business days prior to the sponsor’s deadline to allow time to ensure compliance with institutional and sponsor requirements. Any late submissions require a Grant Application Waiver Request that must be approved by the Chair or Business Manager. The “scientific” sections may be submitted in near final form to allow investigators additional time for editing. PREreview of IRIS Applications Prior to Submission:

Ask a Clinical Research Coordinator, Regulatory Coordinator or Research Practice Manager to review your iRIS application prior to submission.
