During our Lenten forgiveness series we have talked a lot about forgiveness from a personal, individual perspective. This Sunday we will look at it from a corporate or communal perspective. What kinds of forgiveness do communities need to offer or long to receive? How do communities make amends for the hurt they've caused? And where does God fit into all of this? If you've ever been wounded, hurt, or angry at an institution, church, or communal body - or if you've ever represented or been a part of one that has hurt someone else - this Sunday's scripture, sermon, and prayers will speak to you.

Sunday, April 7th. If you don't know what to donate to the silent auction, please consider donating an item for one of the baskets that will be constructed and actioned off. We will have boxes in the social hall for collection the next few weeks for the following themes:

Snacks/beverages
Puzzles (New or like new)
Spa (soaps/ lotions, etc.)
Dog toys/treats
Movie theme - popcorn, gift certificates, etc.

Folks could also put together other baskets alone or in groups if they would like. All donations are greatly appreciated and can be dropped off on a table near the staff offices.
PINE RIDGE MEETING
There will be an important meeting on Sunday, April 7 at noon in the Community Room for all who are going to the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in July. The organizers will lead a team-building exercise, provide more information about the trip and discuss the April 13 Chili Cookoff and silent auction. Food will be provided.
CONCERT!
This Sunday (April 7) at 7 PM, the MSU Choral Union and University Chorale with members of the MSU Symphony Orchestra and MSU vocal arts soloists will combine for performances of Joseph Haydn's "Lord Nelson Mass" and Antonio Vivaldi's "Gloria." Edgewood accompanist Elizabeth Clarke will be the harpsichordist for the Vivaldi. Tickets can be purchased through the Wharton Center box office or at the door.
Addressing Social Stigmas: Mental Illness in the LGBTQ+ Community with guest speaker Denise Letourneau
Sunday, April 14th, 11:30am, Community Room
Denise Letourneau, RN will present and lead an open discussion about several issues that the LGBTQ+ community faces in our society and how this affects mental health. This will be open for all who are interested in social justice for LGBTQ+ communities, for anyone who knows and loves someone who is LGBTQ+, or anyone who identifies as LGBTQ+.

Registration is now open for Prime Time's day retreat "Bearing Loss" for people who are struggling with significant loss in their lives

Peppermint Creek Theatre produces the world premiere of a play featuring the voices of Lansing immigrants and refugees.
The show will run Thursday, April 11 - Sunday, April 14, and Thursday, April 18 - Sunday, April 21, 2019. Show times are Thursday - Saturday at 8pm, and Sunday at 2pm. Tickets can be ordered online HERE (www.peppermintcreek.org), and are $15 general admission, and $10 for students/seniors 65+.
