LED LIGHT GUIDE
3.5 mm Light Guide Type | Spring Clamp Design
|
LED light guides are optical (see-through) channels that transmit light from one end to the other. Light guides can be found in medical devices, security systems, small space accent lighting such as automated teller machine card slots, and communications and industrial controls. They are ideal for mounting on surfaces or through-hole LEDs and can be paneled, or PCB (Printed Circuit Board) mounted. LED light guides hold leverage in terms of design flexibility, easy installation, efficient optical layout, standardized illumination and minimized glare. They are also affordable.
Light guides are rigid and are constructed of solid plastic material with a vertical or right-angled structure. They are thus able to transmit light with little intensity lost. Such guides are complimentary to LEDs fixed upon boards.
