CRAVE/DEFIANT

When we get home in April, we will be diving head-first into rehearsals for CRAVE/DEFIANT. I'm revved for CRAVE to be performed with Sarah Shugarman's live string quartet and loving rehearsing with our Company for Allen's DEFIANT - always learning and flying in a multitude of different ways!

A word of goodbye...And a warm welcome...

A word of goodbye to our beautiful and talented General Manager, Shana Hillman, who led Allen and I through four years of incredible growth. We will miss her dearly - her laughter, her "Shanaisms", her excellence and so much more.

A warm welcome to Olivia Faveri - wearing the hat of Associate Producer & Administrative Coordinator. Olivia comes to us fresh out of the YorkU Dance program that I once upon a time graduated from. And Nadine continues to work her magic as our Community Animator .

We wish Shana all the best in her new adventures as the Director of Operations for Toronto Arts Foundation's East End Arts and are so glad she is going to be 'around' in the arts sector.

TORONTO'S DANCE COMMUNITY CORNER
Wildfire by Judith Thompson's RARE Ensemble

Wildfire, a new play by Judith Thompson with the RARE ensemble, explores the boundaries of love for people with visible differences, and the ways in which they struggle with societal judgement.

Allen and I had the pleasure of choreographing for the amazing cast of Wildfire.
