Please join us virtually on Monday, December 7 at 10:30 a.m. as we celebrate The Feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary which will be concelebrated by all four of our parish pastors - Fr. Angelos, Fr. Duy, Fr. Michael and Fr. Thomas - in addition to our school chaplain, Fr. Dunning! To view the livestreamed Mass on SerraSchool.org, please visit the Parents Only Section. Password is required. Although the actual Feast Day is December 8, our Parish Priests were available on Monday to celebrate this Mass for us. Please note:this feast day is a Holy Day of Obligation for December 8. Please visit your parish website for mass times. Thank you in advance for reminding your child to bring in some change for the collection before mass.
Bear Prayer Partners
Over the next couple of weeks, our students in Grades 1 - 8 will be meeting with their Bear Prayer Partners to make cards for essential workers in hospitals. A group of sophomores at Santa Margarita Catholic High School started a club called "Hugs for Heroes" in the hopes of showing how grateful they are for all the hard work essential workers have put in during this pandemic. They also wanted to show that small acts of kindness can make a huge difference! St. Serra is happy to support this club by having our students make cards for hospital workers during this time.

Student Symptom Tree
During this school year, our primary goal is to keep our students and staff healthy and safe. We urge you, therefore, to keep your children home when they are sick and stay in communication with the Health Room regarding your child’s health. We are providing the link to the Student Symptom Decision Tree given to us by the OC Health Care Agency for your reference. Please use this guide to assist you when your child is ill. If you have any questions regarding our COVID-19 policy for sick students, please feel free to contact Mary Hogan in the Health Room for TK through 8th grade, or Mrs. Carol Reiss for preschool students.
Face Mask 2
COVID-19 Health & Safety Reminders
As cases of COVID-19 continue to rise nationally, we must remain diligent with our COVID health and safety protocols which include wearing masks while on school grounds.(Anytime that a face shield is worn, it must be with a face mask under the shield for all staff and students in all grades). It is important that we practice social distancing throughout our school and maintain good hygiene by washing your hands on a consistent basis. Finally, if you are feeling ill and displaying any COVID-19 related symptoms, please stay home and contact your family medical professional regarding the situation. We appreciate your continued support which will help St. Serra stay open for in-person learning.
Attention Live Streaming Students: So far, we have received just a few photos from our live streamers at home. To ensure that you are included in the Yearbook, in addition to our social media pages, please take a photo of your live streaming home setup wearing your St. Serra gear and email it to [email protected]. Although we are not together physically, we are still united as one family. Together, we are Serra Strong!
