Municipal Awards Ceremony, part of Volunteer Week. The Municipal Awards are about recognizing and celebrating the accomplishments and talents of those who contribute to our Town in a meaningful way. At the ceremony we'll recognize residents who excel and contribute in the areas of athletics, community leadership, and more, as well as the outstanding work of local groups and businesses in Paradise. We will also take the opportunity to wish all of our volunteers a Happy Volunteer Week, and say thank you for their tireless work throughout the year.

By-election Nomination Day

Nomination Day for the upcoming By-election is set for Thursday, April 11. If you're interested in running, be sure to visit our website for information on required procedures, forms and fees. Our
Candidate FAQ Page provides additional information about the election process, eligibility, and campaigning regulations (signage, contributions, etc.).
Residents are reminded to view their voter registration status on our
website. If you are not yet on the Voters List, or if any updates to information are required, please complete and submit the
appropriate application.

Easter Activities at the Paradise Rotary Youth and Community Centre
|
Looking for some activities for youth this Easter? Join us from April 22 to 26 as we celebrate the break with great
events and activities like our Parent and Tot program, Easter Egg-Travganza, Puddle Ducks program, Video Game Challenge, Movie Day, Hockey Day, and Sky High Amusements Day and the Easter Egg Hunt and Climbing Contest.
We are also extending our Ches Penny Youth Centre and Sk8 Park Hours to 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. for the week (Monday - Friday) so be sure to stop by.

Spring is finally here and we encourage all residents to get out and explore the Town's many great walking trails. Friendly reminder to please pick up after your pets and keep them on a leash while walking on Town trails. Thanks and happy trails!

Brunch with the Easter Bunny Tickets

It's time for our popular
Brunch with the Easter Bunny! Hop on into the Paradise Double Ice Complex to get your tickets beginning Friday, April 12 (cash, credit or debit are accepted).

The Town of Paradise is reminding ATV and dirt bike users that use of those types of motorized vehicles are only permitted in designated areas of the T'railway (McNamara Drive West to the Paradise/CBS boundary). We ask all users to follow the Motorized Snow Vehicle and All-Terrain Vehicles Act and ride only in permitted areas. Patrols on all trails will be increased to ensure safety for all users. All reports of non-compliance can be directed to Town of Paradise Municipal Enforcement Officers at (709) 782-1400 or the RNC at (709) 729-8000.

Don't forget to mark your calendars and spring into shape with one of our fitness programs. Registration for spring fitness classes opens on Monday, April 8, with sessions beginning the week of April 15. We have a variety of class options to help get you moving this spring, ranging from spin, aerobics, or strength training, to core fit, Yoga and PiYo. Don't miss out on a fun and active season.
