Summer 2019
Dear Healthcare Leaders,

I hope that you are having an enjoyable summer!

This year marks our 15th Anniversary as an official ACHE chapter, and our 43 rd year as a healthcare
leadership organization. I am honored to be serving as president of the chapter during this milestone year. Please join me in thanking our outgoing president, Chris Fraser, for all of his dedication and contributions to the chapter! We look forward to Chris remaining part of our board to provide guidance.

Reflecting back on the spring, I’d like to thank everyone for connecting at our local events, mentoring others, and your overall contributions to healthcare leadership. Also a big thank you to the team who organized the 7th Annual HLNDV Spring Institute in June.

As we move into August, the HLNDV board will hold its annual planning retreat, focused on developing the next year of programming as well as innovative ways to meet the needs of our members. It will also be a time to thank our board members for their many hours of volunteer work.

Looking ahead to fall, please mark your calendars for the evening of October 3rd , for our chapter’s annual meeting in Philadelphia. I look forward to seeing many of you there.

Enjoy the remaining days of summer,

Emily Burrell, FACHE
