2017 Annual Report Released
2017 was a big year for the Chamber and it really shows in our Annual Report. Highlights from 2017 include phase one of our rebranding, which included a brand new logo, relocating our offices to Old Dobbin Lane after nearly 30 years at our old location, and three new hires including our Director of Membership, Ronny Nadiv, Office Administrator, Karen O'Connor and Communications Manager, Sylvie Porter.

Legislative Affairs Committee Meets with Board of Ed's Christina Delmont-Small
Our Legislative Affairs Committee got a chance to meet with Howard County Board of Education Member Christina Delmont-Small this week. The Committee discussed everything from the budget, to the Superintendent's hiring, APFO, school construction, funding and repurposing and redistricting.

Merriweather Post Pavilion Completes Another Phase of Renovations
Phase four of a five-phase, five-year renovation plan for Merriweather Post Pavilion has been completed in time for the summer concert season despite some serious setbacks earlier this year.

Lorien Health Services Celebrates Addition of Innovative Skilled Nursing Suites
Congratulations to Lorien Health Services who celebrated the expansion of Encore at Turf Valley, a skilled nursing facility offering new private suites that will enable the company to expand services to an additional 750 people a year. Chamber Director of Membership Ronny Nadiv was on hand for the ribbon cutting ceremony.
