Join us for lunch next week at Scrambles Restaurant in Foxbridge Golf Club. Enjoy a mid-day networking lunch with local business owners and representatives, entrepreneurs and local organizations. We have two speakers lined up to talk to us during our lunch on Friday.
Cost:
$2 contribution + the cost of your meal (Ordered A La Carte)

We are a small but mighty team of graphic designers, website designers, photographers, videographers and wordsmiths, collectively known as Take Root Creative. We're pretty awesome individually, but together, we're a creative marketing force to be reckoned with.
Take Root Creative is proud to be located in the heart of Uxbridge, Ontario, which is known not only for its impeccable small town charm, but also for being the Trail Capital of Canada! Most days you'll find us nerding out behind our screens working on the latest print and web designs, out and about in the community catching up with clients, or brainstorming our next really cool digital idea.
Caitlin is an active member of the Rotary Club of Uxbridge and a director on the Uxbridge BIA Board. She has participated as a guest speaker at the North Durham Economic Forum and as a judge for the Hustle Me competition, the North Durham Business Idea Competition as well as the BYC Pitch Competition.
Along with continuing to grow Take Root Creative, Caitlin plans to bake more often, add to her growing collection of "beautiful books," and visit as many playgrounds as possible with her husband and two kids.

Young Canadian Space Club
Mission #2 Young Canadian Space Club took place on March 31st.
Herb Baker gave a most informative talk to the space children. Each explanation was followed by a video.
He spoke about the Saturn V rocket Saturn V (Apollo 8) launch.
Mission #2 also had Keeley Aird, the co-founder of
STEM Kids Rock
, a kid powered organization whose mission is to inspire, engage & empower the next generation of STEM leaders through early & often exposure to science. T
he STEM Kids Rock Free Mobile Science Centre empowers kids of all ages and abilities to teach their peers about STEM.
Mission #3 will be held on Sunday, April 28
th
2-4pm at Trinity United Church.

Connecting Business Event on June 14th
This event will take place on Friday, June 14, 2019 at Foxbridge Golf Club, outside in the big white tent including a BBQ lunch. The event will include speakers and opportunities to showcase UNG members with display tables.
We have also recently added a "Business-to-Business Tour" of businesses in downtown Uxbridge.
We are looking for Uxbridge business owners (UNG members or non-members, home-based business owners are welcome to apply) to host a half hour tour at their business location on June 14th, or having a display table at the outdoor BBQ venue (the big white tent) at Foxbridge Golf Club. UNG Annual Membership
Membership Includes:
- Receive monthly UNG e-Newsletter.
- Membership listing on the bi-annual Networking Magazine (publish in March and August).
- Participate in monthly breakfast and luncheon meetings from September to June.
- Participate at Uxbridge Networking Group display booth in event such as the annual Uxbridge Fall Fair to promote their product and services.
Membership Fee:
Effective March 1st 2016,
members who participate 5 or more networking Group functions (including participations in meetings/ events/ advertising) in a year, renewal rate is $99+HST. First year membership is $125+HST. Annual membership fee is due each year on the month that you join the Networking Group, except for members who join in March or September, their membership fees are due in February and August, respectively. This will ensure that the Networking Group brochure (publish in March and in August) has the most current memberships listing.
