Time to Nominate and Acknowledge Your Staff 
and Volunteers for a 
COSA  Award!

The Council of Social Agencies of Hampshire County (COSA) invites you to nominate a direct service worker and/or a volunteer for our annual Awards. The awards are given each year to honor someone who works or volunteers for a human service and/or a community program in Hampshire County*.
 
What is a Direct Service Worker?
Direct service  is about hands-on involvement. A direct service worker works directly with clients in our agencies. A direct service provider's mission is to assist clients with their unmet needs, such as food, shelter, clothing, or medical care.
 
If you know someone who has demonstrated exemplary achievement and commitment to helping others in need, please complete a nomination form. Our selection committee will follow up each nomination with a phone call to elicit additional details. S end or email this form to:  [email protected] or mail to

Big Brothers Big Sisters
Crafts on the Common
This Weekend!

A perfect way to spend a lovely afternoon!   Join CHD's Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hampshire County for the 38th Annual Amherst Crafts on the Common, one of New England's oldest and finest craft fairs. This craft fair is one of the best-established and most well-respected craft fairs in New England .
Admission is FREE and the event will be held rain or shine on the

   Amherst Town Common
Saturday, June 23rd from 9am - 4pm

SHOP! Shoppers will delight in beautiful handcrafted and one-of-a-kind products made by juried artisans from all over New England. Did we mention a SILENT AUCTION too?
EAT! Delicious food from Bueno Y Sano, ice cream from Flayvors of Cook Farm, Kettle Corn and beverages available for sale for your enjoyment. There will be a shady picnic area to enjoy.
ENJOY! Live music provided by Stewart James and the Memphis Flyers and other local musicians including Taylor McCoy, Eli Catlin, and Buddy McEarns!
AND MORE! Families can come and enjoy inflatable bounce house fun and a fabulous children's book sale with all proceeds benefiting Big Brothers Big Sister of Hampshire County!

Monte is camping out "in the warm"  on the Old Courthouse Lawn in Downtown Northampton.
