Last Day! DEADLINE FOR REGION VII CONFERENCE PROPOSALS
 
Today, June 22nd is the last day to submit your proposals to be considered for a session slot at the Memphis conference this Nov. 11-14. If your session is in progress, please complete the process today. Submit your proposal at the link on our conference page , or directly here.

RESUME REVIEWS & HEADSHOTS AT REGION VII CONFERENCE
 

 
Once again your Region VII Leadership Team is organizing its popular "Resume Review" at our annual conference in Memphis this November. You may also have your headshot updated on the spot if you wish. To pull it off, we need your participation in 2 ways.

1. Resume Review ers
 
Seeking experienced international educators to review resumes and share career advice with fellow IE professionals who are new to the field or interested in updating their resumes with yur feedback.

2. Resume Reviewees

Want to have your resume reviewed? Whether you are new to the field or a seasoned professional, sign up for a resume review session and be paired with an experienced NAFSA member who is willing to provide feedback on your resume, guidance and encouragement in your job hunt.

DO YOU HAVE MORE THAN 10 YEARS EXPERIENCE?
 
NAFSA is developing a new type of conference session format called "Circle Sets". The idea would be to have an experienced professional facilitate each circle of attendees. This facilitator should have more than 10 years experience in some aspect o the field of international education.
To find out more about leading a circle set, please contact: Brad Sekulic / [email protected] , Director of International Programs at UNC Charlotte. He'd need your name, email, and a short line summarizing your 10+ years in IE.   All contact with Brad will be kept confidential.

NAFSA REGION VII AWARD NOMINATIONS 2018

Closing Sept. 28th
Applications for the 2018 NAFSA Region VII awards are now open.  Region VII is now accpeting nominations for the following awards:
  • New Professional Award
  • International Excellence Award
  • Community Volunteer Award

For the 2018 award year, all nominations and support letters must be submitted no later than 11:59 pm on September 28, 2018. The region will only accept nominations received by the deadline using this form. Supporting letters must be sent by the deadline above as scanned documents via email to the Past Chair, Fred von Schmeling.
