This April, thanks to volunteers from Lake Norman Wildlife Conservationists, Robbins Park will offer a new home for this native bird species. According to the National Audubon Society, Chimney Swifts are in steep decline, and the chimneys where they roost are rapidly disappearing as old chimneys are capped or torn down. Read more! |
