TWO NEW COOKIES:
Tahini & Blueberry-White Chocolate-Pecan

We are excited to have two new cookies join the family this month. The first is the Tahini Cookie. This cookie is made with house made tahini (fresh ground sesame seeds and vegetable oil), toasted coconut and white chocolate chips. The second is the Blueberry, White Chocolate & Pecan Cookie. These are dried blueberries with white chocolate chips and toasted pecans. Give yourself a treat, and stop by for this yummy-goodness! Both cookies are available every day, but get them while they last! They're only here for the season.

Cinnamon Raisin Brioche is a fantastically light and fluffy bread, and my opinion is the best bread that we make for French toast. You get the perfect consistency, and the taste is unbeatable when topped with a little bit of powdered sugar. If you need a quick fix, toast it and cover it with peanut or almond butter. Or, an even quicker fix, enjoy a chunk by itself. You'll be pleased with the results from any of the above procedures.

The amazing Summer Stollen is here and is available EVERY DAY in July. If you haven't tried this signature Stick Boy product, you need to hightail it over to our Stick Boy Bakery location and have a sample. This refreshing loaf is a sweet dough made with butter and eggs and mixed with dried blueberries, cranberries, candied lemon peel and toasted pecans. It's shaped just like our Winter Stollen, and instead of powdered sugar, we finish the Summer Stollen with a fresh blueberry and lemon icing! We'll be making lots and sampling lots of Summer Stollen this week. Come on by!
Summer Stollen ($14) & Stollenettes ($8) are usually made on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and in July they'll be available every day - lucky us!

As always, we mix our breads from scratch, shape them by hand, and bake them in our big German oven, right here in our bakery on Hardin Street. We bake only with unbleached and unbromated flour and never use any additives or preservatives. Come and taste.

The Back 2 School Festival is coming up August 4th at Watauga High School from 10AM to 2PM. This fun festival is designed to lift the financial burden that back to school shopping can create off of families and allows children ages kindergarten thru high school to get free school supplies and a free hair cut!

ROUND UP for the Middle Fork Greenway
|
The Middle Fork Greenway is a 10-ft wide, paved, 6.5 mile, pedestrian and bicycle friendly Greenway-in-Progress that will connect Blowing Rock to Boone, naturally.
This month Stick Boy and 115+ other local businesses are supporting a community-wide fundraiser to raise money for funding to finish the project. We are asking you to 'Round Up' your purchase to the closest dollar or add a donation to your purchase. The goal is to raise $100K in July from the local businesses to leverage state grants. I don't know about you, but I can't wait to run or ride my bicycle from Boone to Blowing Rock! Lets do this!
