Hello Brewster Day Camp Family!
Welcome to the time of year when life moves a little quickly. Whether you're juggling Thanksgiving travels and holiday plans, or grinding through finals so you can reconnect with friends and family, it can be easy to forget to appreciate all that we have. What better time to sit around the fire with your loved ones and slow down to CHEERFULLY enjoy some time together?
Our motto, CHGs&P, translates perfectly to the challenges of everyday life in the onset of these cold winter months. When you're anxious to fly across the country for the first time to visit loved ones, remember the tremendous amount of Courage you discovered last summer. As the days grow shorter and the sun sets before you finish your late lunch, remember that Hope will guide you back to the warm summer sun. When you have to shovel your car out of that snowbank for the third day in a row, remember that Good Spirit is all that's needed to turn a chore into a fun activity; and when you look out your window at the snow-covered trees, notice how Peaceful your world can be.
Be sure to take the time that it takes to slow down and share your CHEER with friends and family for the rest of the year!
