Mentor Texts and Unit Planning
The Ohio Writing Project presents "Mentor Text & Unite Planning" in a three-part, high quality blended learning series on May 14, 16, and 29th at the ESC of Lake Erie West.

The first two sessions in the series include defining mentor texts, exploring possibilities with mentor texts, and experiencing a mentor text micro-unit. The final session supports participant planning of a mentor text mini-unit. Participants will further their understanding for use of mentor texts within writing instruction while growing confidence in using mentor texts to plan a unit of writing instruction. 
Location: - ESC of Lake Erie West, 2275 Collingwood, Toledo, OH 43620.

Format: Participants physically attend all sessions. Presenters for first two sessions will be "virtual" and "in person" for the last session.

Dates & Time:
  • May 14th 4-6pm - Virtual Session
  • May 16th 4-6 pm - Virtual Session
  • May 29th - 4-7 pm - Face to Face Session

A contact hour certificate for 7 contact hours will be provided to participants.

Fees include light refreshments at each session and all materials.
