In 2015, the University of Iowa
awarded about 1,000 degrees to international students
was home to 4540 international students from 113 different countries
hosted 10 international alumni events (see the map)
hosted a series of yield events and pre-departure orientations in China, connecting with hundreds of prospective and incoming students and their parents
was named as a "top producer" of U.S. Fulbright students for the first time, and the 12 student awardees have moved the UI to a tie for 27th place among peer institutions
reached over 5,000 active members on international social media platforms
produced graduation ceremonies with commentary in Chinese, Korean, and Spanish
