Publishing training and jobs
Training                                      April 2019
Hello

We hope you are all looking forward to an Easter break but before you head off, have you booked your place on that forthcoming course you've been thinking about? If not, best to do so now in case it fills up!

There are still places for the next free Harper Macleod session for publishers which is Copyright and Image Licensing on Thursday 25 April 2019. It starts at 9.30am and there will be refreshments and breakfast pastries on arrival.

Our Adobe courses in May (Marketing Materials 14 May and Photoshop and Illustrator Tips 15 May) are now full but sign up to the waiting list if you are interested.

We ran some editorial courses earlier in the year and the follow-on course on 19 June - Further Copy-editing and Proofreading - is almost full already. Book now to secure your place. Introduction to Proofreading is on 12 June and Writing Digital Content is on 5 June.

We look forward to seeing you at a course or hearing from you with your suggestions or comments for new courses. Some current ideas we are working on include: Train the Trainer, Book P&Ls, Marketing Day, Copywriting and Presentation Skills.

Best wishes

Joan

Training and Information Manager,  Publishing Scotland
