Crucible of Practice Salons (CPS) — the latest webinar series of GLR Learning Tuesdays — provide a “deep-dive” exploration of how community coalitions are approaching and moving the work to improve the early school success prospects of children from economically challenged families, neighborhoods and communities. As importantly, by uncovering the story behind the story, CPS will seek to illuminate the factors and dynamics that combine to propel and inhibit progress. And finally, each webinar will strive to answer the “what are we learning” question and lift up implications of that learning for future success, replication and sustainable scale.

As many of you know or have seen, our Community Learning for Impact & Improvement Platform (CLIP) has been undergoing some design updates over the past few months. To showcase the new design and give a refresher on how to leverage CLIP in your work, we’re hosting a CLIP Tutorial Webinar on Thursday, January 28, 4–5 p.m. ET. RSVP via the Zoom registration link provided below. A recording of the tutorial will be made available to anyone who is unable to attend.

The Symposium will feature highly engaging sessions aimed to help all teachers and education leaders bring Science of Reading findings to the forefront.

The Reading League's "Science of Reading: A Defining Moment" Symposium - February 3, 2021, 9am - 5 pm

This event will launch The Reading League’s “Science of Reading: A Defining Moment” initiative. A team of experts has formed a coalition to clarify what the Science of Reading is in an effort to maintain the integrity of its principles. During this event, we will provide a commonly agreed upon definition, a rationale for this definition, and an outline of how you can play a part.

Florida Grade Level Reading Campaign presents Dr. Paige Pullen from the Lastinger Center at the University of Florida - February 19, 2021

Dr. Pullen shares her expertise through this three-part virtual series which began in December. Certificates of participation will be provided at the end of each webinar.
