Thank you to everyone who came out to support our 12th Annual Mix-It-Up! Fundraiser this year to raise funds for the PATH's (People Assisting The Homeless) West LA shelter that caters to veterans. I am pleased to tell you that we broke records both in attendance and dollars raised! We had a record-breaking 170 people attend our fundraiser this year, and raised over $18,000 between our GoFundMe donations and event!!

We couldn't have done it without our amazing sponsors, contributors and board members.

To Our Sponsors:

Gap Construction Inc. and Behr Paint who are generously donating the labor and paint for our renovation - THANK YOU! We would never be able to finance the renovation we envision without your help.

To Our Contributors:

Thank you to all the wonderful people at the PDC and around Los Angeles (and as far as Sonoma and Santa Fe!) who so kindly donated items for us to raffle and auction off - we had some really amazing items that pushed us way past our fundraising goal.

To Our Board:

I'd like to put out a special thank you to Lacey Easton & Leah Ferrante who were in charge of this event and fundraising efforts. Their attention to detail and overall poise ran through every aspect of the event. Thank you to Alyson Bender for securing so many of the amazing items we had to auction off, and for motivating the rest of the board. Olivia Wettreau for generous donations, overall support and slinging raffle tickets like a boss! Huge thank you to Andrea Ables for creating all of the marketing materials for the event - from signage, to bidding forms to small details, she touched almost every aspect of the event, and was a huge reason everything looked polished. Thank you to Bennett McCord for getting our finances in legitimate order, and being on top of all the ins and outs of financing an event and accepting donations. Thank you to Andrew Brick for bringing this project to us, and being an incredible point person on both sides. Thank you Allison Margetson Shields for your generous donations and adding much-needed life to our event! Thank you to Anisha Vasandani for making people feel welcomed by being the warm smiling face everyone saw when they entered. And huge thank you to Shannon Faber who is always quietly behind the scenes helping, and who connected us to her family-owned company that will be donating the labor for this project.

Very last thank you (did you think I forgot!) to Shepard Vineburg who looked dashing, and kept us together with his wise words, anecdotes and kind heart.

I am floored by the amount of support we received, and I am so proud of the event we created and the dollars we raised. I am also very excited to see this project on to the next phase! I look forward to bringing our collective creative ideas to PATH, and look forward to working with the board in creating a better environment for these vets.

Cheers to all of us on a job well done!
