Dear Friends,
The process to receive a COVID-19 vaccination has been off to a rocky start--to say the least. There have been confusing announcements regarding the availability of the vaccine and about how to receive it. And, many residents are still concerned about its safety.
To help clear up some of the confusion, I and my District 11 Teammates--Senator Shelly Hettleman and Delegates Jon Cardin and Lisa Belcastro--have joined wtih the Pikesville Owings Mills Chamber of Commerce to host a Virtual Town Hall meeting for residents of District 11. The event takes place Thursday, January 28 from 7-8:30 pm.
Two experts will provide helpful information and answer your questions about the vaccine. Baltimore County's Director of Health and Human Services, Dr. Gregory Branch, will discss the county's roll-out of the vaccine and answer your questions regarding how to obtain it. Dr. Wilbur Chen, Chief of Adult Clinical Studies at the University of Maryland, will provide information on the development and efficacy of the various vaccines.
