Engineering alum appointed Chilean Environment Minister
UI College of Engineering distinguished alumnus and deputy environment minister Marcelo Mena-Carrasco has been appointed by Chilean President as the new minister of the environment. Read more.

Jeffrey Ding, who earned three UI degrees and a certificate, was the recipient of the Stanley Undergraduate Award. He now is pursuing a master's degree as a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford University. Read more.
