Good morning,
 
We have some new opportunities for our members to get involved here at the Hampshire Area Chamber of Commerce.
 
As you may know, volunteers are the backbone of all non-profit organizations. Without their help, events and functions cannot succeed. 
 
We are always looking for extra hands to help by being on our board of directors, committees, and volunteering for the day of our events.  
 
If we each take a small portion of the workload that goes into an event imagine what the outcome could be. 
 
As of today we have 3 director positions available on our board of directors. We would love to see chamber members who have been wanting to get more involved step into these roles. 
 
Event Committee openings include: Santa's Mistletoe Market and Chamber Appreciation Luncheon
 
Volunteers are needed for the upcoming Annual Golf Outing and Santa's Mistletoe Market.

A wonderful event put on by Hampshire Township Park District! Families and individuals came out to enjoy good music, food,and local business sponsored activities.

A word from Goebberts...

Registration is in full-swing for our first annual "Happy Jack Hustle 5K Family Fun Run/Walk" through the Farm on September 2nd. Early bird registration has been extended through July 20th. We are hoping to get many more people signed up as we keep getting closer to the actual event.
Set up has begun on Goebbert's Winter Wonderland. Brian Larsen has been starting to set up and install equipment in the orchard for our Winter light show that will begin on Thanksgiving weekend.
We have been busy getting ready for the Farmstand to open with our farm fresh sweet corn. We are opening on Friday, July 13th.
For people thinking ahead to Fall already, there are some dates still open to host a corporate event here at the Farm, and we are working with several brides and grooms that are having their wedding receptions here.

Join us for our first annual 5K run on the farm on Sunday, September 2nd!

You'll have the opportunity to run through the farm on what we hope to be a beautiful day in Hampshire.

All those who registered as a runner will receive the following:
Entry Fee for Race
Farm Admission for the day
T-Shirt
Finisher's Medal
and...
cider and donuts at the finish line!

We will be donating 20% of all proceeds to the Salvation Army.

Friends and Family who are not running will need to purchase General Admission ticket in order to enter the farm and stay for the day. This can be purchased with race registrations or on site the day of the race. There is no charge for children that are 2 years old or younger. 

Online Registration Information for Participants:
June 1st through June 30th
$35 per person
(Early Bird Discount only available until 6/30/18 at 11:59:59PM)

Starting July 1st through August 31st
$40 per person

Spectator Fee:
$15
(Includes admission to the farm for the day)

*Online registration will close Friday, August 31st - you can register in person on race day as well - see website for details on special group rates for multiple runners*
