CARVER HOLIDAY VOICES - DECEMBER 2020
Carver Center is grateful to our many community friends
that have stepped up in 2020 to help us feed and care
for our Port Chester families.

We Thank You and Wish You a Very
Happy, Safe and Joyful Holiday Season.

RYE BROOK
CUB SCOUTS
"DOING THEIR BEST"

The Cub Scout's motto is "Do Your Best" and the
Rye Brook Troop certainly did theirs. They ran a Thanksgiving food drive for Carver Center during the month of November.
Many Port Chester families enjoyed a holiday dinner
from their wonderful donation
RYE MIDLAND SCHOOL FOOD DRIVE

Our friends at the Midland School delivered boxes and boxes of much-needed food items to the Carver Market. Families purchased the items through a custom Amazon Wish List that was created just for them. (Pictured below from left to right, Emily Gupta, Kate McGough,
Erica Fritsche and Laura Fry.)
GARDEN CATERING OF GREENWICH
DELIVERS HOLIDAY MEALS

Garden Catering of Greenwich has been giving back this holiday season to the local community. So far this year, they have already donated about 30,000 meals to front line workers and to food pantries and shelters.

They delivered holiday meals to Carver during November and December and will be continuing the effort in January, when many of our families need it most.
OSBORN ANGELS PROVIDE HOLIDAY
CHEER TO FAMILIES

The Osborn School PTA collected 200 gift cards for our Port Chester families. We are grateful for Osborn's generosity and thrilled that we could continue this tradition. This is the fifth consecutive year that they have helped Carver.
JUNIOR LEAGUE WESTCHESTER
ON THE SOUND

JLWOS has been a long time supporter of Carver.
This year, they dropped off 30 bags of food which contained
22 different food items and a dinner ham.

In total, this was over 1000 pounds of food!
They also delivered approximately 500 mittens, scarves, hats,
socks and other winter accessories for children and teens.
Thank you for your spirit of giving!
FROM THE OFFICE OF THE COUNTY EXECUTIVE

Carver Center. We'd like to share the following PSA's that were created to promote public education on proper coronavirus procedures.
