Join your Family of Peace for our annual Thanksgiving Eve Service on Wednesday, November 27 at 7:15 pm. 

Pie Reception After the Service!
A delicious pie reception will be held in the Lobby immediately following the service. If you would like to donate a pie, please sign up in the Lobby.

Sing With The Choir Thanksgiving Eve
 
Thanksgiving Choir!
All singers are welcome to join us for the Thanksgiving choir anthem on Thanksgiving eve, November 27. We'll meet in the Choir Room at 7 pm to rehearse, and then sing at the beginning of the 7:15 pm service.
If you're too busy to sing every week with the Choir, or just want an opportunity to sing your thanks, come and sing with us! Let Brad know, or just show up! ([email protected].)

Join us Sunday morning, December 8 at 8:30 am and 10:30 am for a service of God's Word and wonderful music. Each of the prophecies and Gospel readings will be followed by
wonderful musical responses.
The Peace Choir, Orchestra, and Band will be leading our
worship music.
This is a great opportunity to bring a friend!

Join us for a time of games & prizes, crafts, face painting, treats and get your picture taken with Santa. There will be activities for Children PK through 5th Grade and their families. All women are invited to this fun and festive opportunity to celebrate Christmas with the women of Peace. This is a wonderful chance to connect with those you know and meet someone new!  Everyone is welcome to bring a friend or two and introduce them to your Peace Sisters in Christ!  Join us on Monday, December 9 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at the Hyatt Regency - First Floor Atrium - 1400 Corporetum Dr, Lisle, IL. Appetizers provided - purchase your own beverages. This event is sponsored by LWML and the

Christmas Care and Share 

Christmas Care and Share Is Underway!
Please consider becoming involved in the following opportunities by signing up at the Care & Share table in the Lobby or completing the volunteer form in your mailbox:
  • Adopt a Family or Individual - purchase gifts for an
    under-resourced family or individual. Average cost is $25-$40 per person. Details available in Lobby. 
  • Prayer Buddies - volunteer to pray for a family through May 2020. 
  • Personal Care Products - purchase personal care items as described in the "stockings" on the Christmas Care & Share poster in the Lobby. Each slip costs about $10.
  • Assist with set up and/or distribution - sign up to help with the set up (Friday, Dec. 13) and/or distribution of gifts (Saturday, Dec. 14). Sign up sheets are located in the Lobby. 
  • Make a Donation - make a financial contribution to Care & Share by designating a specific amount on your offering envelope or writing "Care & Share" on the memo line of your check.(NOTE:  Care & Share is not a line item on Peace's budget. It is funded solely by designated contributions to "Care & Share".)

High School Christmas Party December 8

High School Christmas Party at Fox Bowl!
Sunday, December 8 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm

We'll celebrate Christmas together with pizza and fun at Fox Bowl in Wheaton. Meet and pick up at the bowling alley. Each youth should bring $10 for Bowling (includes 1 game, shoe rental, pizza & drink) and a White Elephant Gift to pass ($5). Dress in your craziest Christmas attire and invite a friend!

Salvation Bracelet Volunteers Needed

Volunteers Needed For Salvation Bracelets  
We are in need of volunteers to make salvation bracelets for the upcoming World Gospel Trip to Honduras January 18-25. When you volunteer, you are given a bag that will include the supplies to make 30 bracelets along with the instructions. They don't need to be completed until January 5. Larger bracelet bags are available if desired. Your help is very appreciated. If you would like to participate, please contact Ginny Morgan at [email protected].

News From The Prayer Shawl Ministry
The shawls lovingly created by members of our Prayer Shawl Ministry are now available to patients at the Edwards Hospital Cancer Center! We hope these shawls bring a feeling of peace and comfort to all those going through treatment for cancer.
