We'll eat, celebrate the holiday, and enjoy a special musical program for young children with Wayne Potash. Join us in the Sanctuary to celebrate our 10 Adult B'nei Mitzvah students as they are called to the Torah!  Will we see you there?

Annual Women's Seder
Tuesday, April 23 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.; $20 + potluck
Through ritual, song, and conversation we will retell the story of Passover over a potluck Seder meal. Rabbis Zecher, Jacobson, and Gubitz will lead the Seder. This year will be even more wonderful (and that's a pretty high bar). Please remember to bring a bottle of wine for your table to share. Yizkor Service
Thursday, April 25 at 6:15 p.m.
We dedicate our Yizkor service to the memory of family members and loved ones who have died, and we provide some time to share our memories amidst the music, prayers, and the company of our own community. During the service on the 7th Day of Pesach, we will include prayers for Yizkor as well. Contact Rachel Daniels for more information or call at 617-566-3960.

Temple Israel lay leaders have been working on a number of important changes to our bylaws. The changes will be voted on at our Annual Gathering on June 13. Join us for our second congregation-wide meeting to review proposed changes and provide your input. Check our  leadership webpage for updated bylaws to be posted later this week. Remembering the Holocaust: Stories from Across Generations

Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day) 5779 marks 74 years since the end of World War II. This year we have invited Holocaust survivor Lilly Salcman, who will be interviewed by our members, her daughter Suzanne Salamon and her granddaughter Alex Einhorn Smith at our Yom HaShoah service. Certified Nurse-Midwife, Sarah Kleinman, will cover the birthing process and guide you through birthing practice, while Rabbi Suzie Jacobson and Rabbi Matt Soffer will discuss Jewish rituals around birthing, including naming ceremonies and the bris.
