Asians and Pacific Islander populations in the U.S. speak over 75 languages and dialects, as described in our A-Z Model Report. A sexual assault survivor's limited English proficiency can be a barrier to receiving services, support, and justice. In the spirit of increasing access, here are materials on sexual assault in Asian or Pacific Islander languages. If you have developed or know of additional translated materials on sexual violence, please let us know!
- Sexual Assault: What It Means (Ontario Women's Directorate) - in Chinese, English, Punjabi, Tamil, and Vietnamese
- Information and resources for sexual assault victims (San Francisco Women Against Rape)- in Arabic, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, English, Japanese, Tagalog, and Vietnamese
- Consenting Sexual Activity in a Relationship or Marriage (Immigrant Women's Support Service) - in Chinese, English, Filipino, Thai, and Vietnamese
- Am I A Victim of Sexual Assault? (The Sex Abuse Treatment Center) - in Chinese, Chuukese, English, Ilocano, Japanese, Korean, Marshallese, Samoan, Tagalog, Thai, Tongan, and Vietnamese
- Sexual Harassment Discrimination Factsheet (EEOC) - in Chinese, English, Korean, and Vietnamese
