Congratulations to our Highway Superintendent, Peter Beckwith
for completing all of the requirements of the Baystate Roads Scholar Program. This program requires that the applicant attend at least seven training workshops, all of which are a minimum of six hours of participation.
Live Animal Program at the Richmond Free Public Library
On Saturday, July 7th, at 11:00 AM, Creature Teachers will be visiting the Richmond Library and educating our patrons on a variety of animals.
Berkshire HorseWorks Gala "THE DERBY"
An experiential Gala benefiting those at risk in the Berkshires.
Saturday July 14, 2018 - 5:30 PM in the Barn at Green Meads Farm, 236 Perry's Peak Road.
A taste of Kentucky with live music and an auction. Wear your Derby hat or make one with us. Sip a Bourbon or Mint Julep in the Tack Room.
Town Beach is Open
Hours are 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM for lifeguards, but the beach area will remain open until at least 7:00 PM each evening. Closed on Mondays.
Richmond Land Trust 2018 Photo Contest
The contest is open to amateur, youth and professional photographers. Deadline for submissions is August 8, 2018. Entry forms available at Town Hall, the Richmond Post Office, the Richmond Library,Bartlett's or on the Richmond Land Trust website at richmondlandtrust.net. or by email to richmondladmass@gmail.com.
Winners will be announced at the Richmond Land Trust Pie Social in September.
