We will use the book, "Easter Love Letter from God - Bible Stories," by Glenys Nellist.
A Note from Lynne
As we settle into this new reality, how are you feeling? Maybe you're overwhelmed with all of the digital invitations to fill your time? Maybe homeschooling never sounded like a good idea to you, and now you know why? Maybe you are bored, or maybe you are working harder than you ever have. Maybe you feel all of these things at least once every hour! If so, you are not alone. Please take the time to honor all of your swirling emotions, and honor them in your family and friends, as well.
I have also struggled this week with different demands on my time, and have felt very conflicted about the tendency for our society to rush to fill every minute of our digital lives. To that end, here is what you will see from me:
Digital Sunday School will continue to come as a link in this newsletter. It will also be posted on the Hennepin Facebook page, and accessible from the children's page of the Hennepin website. Most lessons will have a downloadable component. Some will have family activities to do together. Use whatever content is helpful for your family. Use it all, or use none of it - just know that it is there to support you over the next several weeks of being in close quarters together.
If you do not have access to a printer at home, please let me know. I am happy to mail out copies of all downloadable content. You can email me at lynne@haumc.org

This Week's Online Sunday School: Story and Stretch!
Before you get started!!!
Grab a candle if you want to light one - I am using an LED candle this week. We will be learning some yoga poses, so move that coffee table in the living room if you need some extra space! Here's the link:

Special thanks to Michelle Le Gribble-Dates for your amazing Story and Stretch curriculum!
How Can We Help?
How about being a penpal? There are many people in our congregation who are considered "at-risk", and are feeling isolated and alone. They can't go out and may not have as much digital access and expertise as some of us. Take a look at this cute video, (https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=16&v=4HH1kRilJbM) and then email me at lynne@haumc.org if you would like to be a source of joy and encouragement to one of our members that are homebound. Younger child artwork would also be great to send!
