Room In The Inn (RITI) - Dec 1
This winter, on Sunday nights Dec through March, we host our homeless neighbors on our campus for food, fellowship, and rest. Called Room In The Inn (RITI),  this ministry is in partnership with Urban Ministry Center. We welcome all to get involved in helping care for our neighbors. If interested, please call the office or sign-up online RITI sign-up.
Life Skills Workshops - with ABC Ministry
The Avondale-Bethlehem Center (ABC) middle-school teens are learning Life Skills, such as cooking, dressing for success, simple budgeting, and many others. We are seeking individuals to plan and teach one-hour life skills workshops on a variety of topics. Read more and/or sign up.
Gatherings with Jim - 3 dates
When Jim Ewing and his family joined us at Avondale in August, we floated the idea of having several in-home, small gatherings where members could get to know our new minister a little better. PWA Bake Sale - Goodies Needed!
WE NEED COOKIES MAKERS for the Cookie/Bake Sale. The 7th annual sale will be held by the PWA, and this year it is in conjunction with the Christmas Marketplace. If you can make 2 or more dozen cookies for the sale, please contact Lyn Sweet or Brenda Coble or sign-up online here!
PWA in Action - Avondale Cookbook
The Presbyterian Women of Avondale (PWA) sold a reprint of Avondale's first cookbook earlier in the year, in honor of our 75th anniversary. WE HAVE 16 LEFT. These make great gifts. Please let Ruby Cathey or Brenda Coble know if you would like to purchase a cookbook. 
Sacred Space Art Card Sets are in!
We are delighted with your response to the Sacred Space Art cards sets. For those who placed orders in August, we will have your order available for pick-up at a table at Worship this Sun, Nov 24 and again Sun, Dec 1. Are you interested in cards? CHRISTMAS AT AVONDALE
Joyful Noise - in December
Joyful Noise Christmas will take place on Wednesdays, Dec 4, 11 and 18 at 11 AM at Avondale. This will be for children 6 months to 3 years old. No charge and no sign-up required. 
ABC ministry
ABC Angel Tree - Nov 17 to Dec 8
Christmas is also coming to the ABC Ministry. The Angel Tree is up in the Family Life Center atrium. We invite you to take an ornament to provide a gift for a Bethlehem Center child, or a gift card for a Bethlehem Center family.

Our Dec 16 meeting of ASAP will be one to thoroughly enjoy with John Tosco and his group playing Christmas favorites for us. A "turkey" meal is on the menu. Members of the congregation are welcomed to enjoy the Christmas music. If you would like to come for lunch, call 980-297-4997 to make a reservation.

PWA Bake Sale - Dec 7
We will have boxed cookies, beautiful filled mugs, famous Jim Bowen's peanut brittle, jams, preserves, and other goodies for sale. The annual Cookie/Bake Sale for the Presbyterian Women of Avondale will be held in conjunction with the Christmas Marketplace this year. If you can contribute cookies, sign-up online here.
