NEW RESTRAINING ORDER COURTROOM OPEN AT STANLEY MOSK COURTHOUSE
  
June 1, 2018, LASC, Family Law Division made the following changes to courtroom operations at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse:
 
Commissioner Kimberly Dotson will be assigned
to Department 6, Room 543
 
All initial requests for temporary restraining orders will continue to be filed in in the Restraining Order Center, Room 245
 
All restraining order HEARINGS, including civil harassment, domestic violence, elder and dependent abuse, firearm prevention, school violence prevention, transitional housing, and workplace violence prevention requests will be randomly assigned to Departments 2B, 2C, and 6
 
Family Centered Case Resolution hearings, fee waiver hearings, hearings on claims of exemption and judgment debtor exams will be scheduled in Departments 2B, 2C and 6
 
Counsel and parties are instructed to identify the assigned judicial officer and department on the first page of all proposed orders lodged with the clerk, beneath the case number, to ensure proper distribution of documents.

Los Angeles Superior Court has begun NEW OPERATIONS in courtroom locations at the "SSC" - Spring Street Courthouse.

1)  ALL FILINGS ARE MADE AT STANLEY MOSK COURTHOUSE;
 
2)  COURTESY COPY DELIVERIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AT STANLEY MOSK WITH ORIGINAL FILINGS, BUT MUST DE DELIVERED TO APPROPRIATE COURTROOM AT SSC
 
3)  THERE WILL BE A SMALL CLERK'S OFFICE AT SSC FOR A FEW EXCEPTIONS ONLY - SAME DAY EX-PARTE APPLICATIONS AND DOCUMENTS FILED FOR TRIALS IN PROGRESS

Effective today, July 2, the Probate Division at Stanley Mosk Courthouse, 111 N. Hill Street, the following changes apply:
 
Judge Elizabeth A. Lippitt is reassigned
from Dept 79 to Dept 29
 
Judge Paul T. Suzuki is reassigned
from Dept 34 (of Clara Foltz Criminal) to Dept 79 (Mosk)
 
Counsel and parties are instructed to identify the assigned judicial officer and department on the first page of all  documents submitted for filing, calendaring of hearings and document routing.
