Hull's No-Hitter Highlights Senior Day Sweep
The No. 1 Virginia Wesleyan University softball shut out Roanoke twice Sunday afternoon at TowneBank Park (Tom & Betty Broyles Field). The squad dropped the Maroons, 2-0, in game one before shutting them down 8-0 in the second game. With the wins, the Marlins improve to 31-2 overall and 13-1 in conference action. Before the game, the Marlins also recognized their two members of the senior class, Beth Ford and Jessica Lindsay, for their dedication to the program over their years at VWU. Softball returns to action again at 2:30 p.m. on Friday as the Marlins host Shenandoah for a doubleheader.

Men's Track & Field Excel In All Five Facets at Salisbury
The Virginia Wesleyan University men's track team competed at the Eastern Shore Challenge Saturday in Salisbury, MD. The Marlins placed fifth, producing 90 team points. Men's track and field will return to action again on Friday as the team heads to the ODAC Championship at Randolph College.

Diallo Breaks Record as Women's T&F Nabs Eighth in Salisbury
The Virginia Wesleyan University women's track team competed at the Eastern Shore Challenge Saturday in Salisbury, MD. The Marlins placed eighth, producing 25 team points. Women's track and field will return to action again on Friday as the team heads to the ODAC Championship at Randolph College.

Baseball Comes Away With One Win at W&L
The Virginia Wesleyan University baseball team split its doubleheader with Washington and Lee Saturday on the road. The team came out victorious in game one (9-3) before falling 7-5 to the Generals in game two. With the results, the Marlins go to 15-12 on the season and 10-6 in conference action.
Men's Lacrosse
Men's Lacrosse Drops Road Contest to Lynchburg
The Virginia Wesleyan University men's lacrosse team dropped its contest with Lynchburg, 23-4, Saturday afternoon on the road. With the loss, the Marlins go to 8-5 on the season and 3-3 in conference action. Lynchburg improves to 9-4 on the year (5-0 ODAC).
Women's Golf
Women's Golf Takes Third at Shenandoah Shootout
The Virginia Wesleyan University women's golf team placed third at the Shenandoah Shootout over the weekend, played at Shenandoah Valley Golf Club. The team turned in a 1.5 round total of 544 for a +116. Women's golf now gears up for the ODAC Championship which will begin on Sunday, April 28, and span three days. The event will take place at Bryan Park in Greensboro, NC.
