Principal's Message
Hello everyone,

We continue to offer our support to Ryan Tontz and his family. We all signed a banner for Ryan that was presented to him before he left. Ryan's surgery was today in Boston and we are praying that everything went well!

It's no secret we added another snow day to our total for the year yesterday. We will not be making up this day as we added two days back in and with the recent approval of the "Snow Day Relief" from the legislature. Thank goodness we didn't have another one today!  I've heard plenty of blame go around about this storm from it is the fault of the people who put their snowblowers away for the year to a spring sports person jinxing us by looking ahead to great spring weather the rest of the school year.  Either way, thanks for your patience as we make adjustments on the fly with our weather.

The weather impacted our State Speech participants this week as well. With the uncertainty of the weather we decided for the team and coaches to head up to state on Wednesday. The state competition is today and we are looking forward to hearing the results this evening. Good luck Speech Team! We also had to postpone the pep fest due to the weather so look forward to one next week.

Our spring sports season has kicked off and has now been put on hold for the moment. Our teams are off to great starts and we look forward to them being back in competition soon. We sincerely appreciate everyone's participation this spring including our student-athletes, our teacher-coaches, all of our other dedicated coaches.  And of course we thank our parents for their never-ending support of activities at Loyola!

Have a great weekend!

School Leader/Preschool-12 Principal
