NEWS YOU CAN  USE - April 15, 2019
From the Grand Lodge Office
2018-19 Grand Lodge Officers &
2019 Officers of Alma #244.

Allow me to use this space this week to give a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who had a hand in putting together a great night at Alma #244's 150th celebration this past Saturday.  I can't begin to tabulate the hours our members have spent in lodge, in committees, late-night texting & messaging about this event for the last few years.  But foremost in the planning was our late secretary, Colin Hayward, who locked down Grand Master Hill for April 13, 2019 when he was first elected to the Grand Line many years ago (it may have even been that very day). He had already done an amazing amount of work pulling together articles and artifacts, putting together video and laying the groundwork for this night before his passing in 2015.  Everything we did was a continuation of his efforts.
We hope the evening was what you hoped it would be, Brother Colin.

Next week you will see an all-new look to the weekly ENews, stay tuned!

Have a great week, see you at lodge!
