Ezekiel Samking – Jerimiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Hawa Sesay – John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

Janet Passawe – Psalm 50:15
Call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.

Kibur Theodros Bezabih – Mark 10:27

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

April is Addiction Awareness Month
April is addiction awareness month and Gary Lampe, a pastor in the South St. Louis circuit, has devoted much of his ministry to caring for those who struggle with addiction.
He has written a devotion titled, “A Light at the End of the Tunnel.” It’s written for those struggling with addiction and the family and friends of those struggling with addiction.
It is also available online at drugaddictiondevotion.com where you can download more copies or subscribe to it as an email.
In our prayers today, we will pray for Gary, his ministry, and those struggling with addiction in our community and around the world.
